Who Should
Represent Us?
As members of the Working Middle
Class, I believe that you and I face the same hardships and struggles.
We work hard to care for our
families and raise our children while the cost of Gas climbs through the
roof along with Property Tax, Health Insurance and other basic necessities.
"It is only through our shared
hardships that we come to a basic understanding of our common needs."
By the time we are done paying our
basic bills, we barely have enough money left for other things, such as
Food!
 I
believe that as your representative one of my greatest asset would be the
deep understanding that I have of the issues that affect our lives.
"After all, our
government of the people, by the people and for the people requires that our
representatives must first be
Of the People."
It makes me wonder how any elected
official could effectively represent us without having an intimate knowledge
of the struggles and hardships that we face on a daily basis?
"Until they have
walked a mile in your shoes, they don't know your pain"
If they do not have anything in
common with us, such as how
Taxes, Gas and Insurance don't leave us enough money to take care of our
families, then how can they represent us? How can they
have our "Best
 Interests"
in mind when they don't even know who we are or what we go through?
"I will Represent You, not the
Lobbyist or Special Interest Groups who
have corrupted our government."
It is now more than ever that we
need to stand up and fight the corruption and moral degradation that has
cast its shadow over our government. As your representative, I will stand
against such corruption and hold myself to a higher standard, one which you
can be proud of.
